Official summary
This Preliminary information communicates that after a programming event that requires key provisioning there may be a situation where the PCM will lock up. If this concern occurs the technician is directed to locate the SPS logs to determine if the PCM needs to be replaced. If the PCM has failed the tech is advised to follow PIP5970 for assistance in obtaining a replacement PCM.
