Some 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit an intermittent passive entry feature inoperative or only working when the key fob is a few inches away from the handle, even though the 12V battery state of charge (SOC) is over 50% and no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored in the BCM. This may be due to the configuration of the body control module (BCM).
