"Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Trying To Regen Too Frequent Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ● P2459 - Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration Too Frequent. Customers may also experience the following: ● Vehicle has entered engine performance de-rate mode. NOTE: Engine performance de-rate mode will occur when the DTC has been set for a long period. This bulletin involves replaceing the DPF if DTC P2459 is set."
