"Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Trying To Regen Too Frequent Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC): ● P2459 - Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration Too Frequent. Customers may also experience the following: ● Vehicle has entered engine performance de-rate mode. NOTE: Engine performance de-rate mode will occur when DTC P2459 has been set for a long period. This bulletin involves replacing the DPF if DTC P2459 is set."
