Official summary
In some of the affected vehicles, customers may initially experience a gear grinding noise from the transmission in reverse, which could progress to illumination of the check engine light and/or transmission wrench light. If the customer continues to operate the vehicle, this could progress to a loss of transmission torque resulting in vehicle speed limitation and inability to shift to reverse.
