Official summary
Some 2025 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a "procedure unsuccessful" message after running the towbar configuration application using Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. This may be due to the incorrect trailer tow kit being installed. Trailer modules (TRM) are model year specific. A 2024 Bronco requires the installation of trailer tow kit VP2DZ-15A416-B and a 2025 Bronco requires the installation of trailer tow kit VS2DZ-15A416-C.
