Official summary

Gear rack and pinion: Custodian would encounter steer feel being heavier and may feel some pulling. Customer may complain the steering feels heavy while returning to steering wheel to center during a lower speed turn. Customer may also complain the vehicles pulls slightly at highway speeds. There are no DTCs associated with that scenario. Older software pull drift compensation and zero-point learning is not optimized. New Software has optimized pull drift compensation and zero-point learning. Do not replace the steering gear for these scenarios when an EPS DTC is not present. Reflash software
