Official summary
Certain Elantra (CN7), Elantra N (CN7 N), Elantra (CN7A) vehicles may experience a thudding noise coming from the fuel tank assembly at idle or on an incline when the PCSV (Purge Control Solenoid Valve) is operating, and fuel level is above 90% full. If the noise is heard, follow the service procedure to replace the fuel tank assembly and resolve the concern.
