Official summary
This article supersedes TSB 24-2163 to update the Service Procedure and change labor operation from actual to fixed time. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator and/or "Stop Safely Now" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0563, P0ADA, P0ADE, P0AA1, P0AA4, P0AA5, P0AA2, P0D10, P0D0F and/or P0C78 stored in the battery energy control module (BECM). The vehicle may also exhibit a low/discharged 12v battery. This may be due to the high voltage battery junction box.
