Official summary

Issue Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain subject vehicles, the engine control unit software does not correspond to current production specification. The affected vehicles could exhibit rough engine running and noticeable vehicle vibrations, and misfire during the catalytic heating phase, resulting in check engine Malfunction Indicator (MIL) Lamp to illuminate.
