Official summary
Some 2025 Maverick vehicles may exhibit a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U053B:56 stored in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to the software within the image processing module A (IPMA) resulting in this DTC setting in the IPC. To correct this condition, update the IPMA using the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 14G647 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.
