Complaint An instrument cluster message "Rear axle steering fault, stop immediately" is very briefly illuminated in the instrument cluster upon vehicle start-up, prior to driving. No fault codes stored in the rear axle steering control unit N68/4. Cause Asynchronous start-up of control units in the vehicle. Remedy The message clears once the head unit receives the rear axle steering signal. Perform a software update to A26/17 control unit - MBUX multimedia system + instrument cluster (head unit) CIVIC206; the software version must be at least 333.8.
