Official summary
Some 2023-2024 Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with a 1.5L engine may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P130D stored in the PCM. Engineering is aware of this condition and is currently working on a solution that is expected in late Q2 of 2026. If a vehicle comes in for this condition, submit a Global Concern Report (GCR) and monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.
