2025-2026 Expedition XL vehicles that are equipped as a Special Service Vehicle (SSV) (minor feature code TDAGZ) will not open or close the power liftgate/tailgate by pressing the button on the key fob. Additionally, these vehicles may exhibit a symptom where the horn does not sound when the key fob lock button is pressed. Expedition XL vehicles equipped as a SSV have the rear liftgate/tailgate power open/close feature omitted from being operated via the key fob.
