Official summary
The coolant control valve updated part is now available and supersedes PYFD-15-16ZA. As a result, PYFD-15-16ZA is no longer available. PW5S-15-16Z is supplied with a dummy plug pre-installed. Critical Installation Requirement: When replacing PW5S-15-16Z, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) must also be updated to the latest software version. Failure to perform the PCM update may result in drivability concerns or diagnostic trouble codes.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
