Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year (“MY”) 2015-2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (222 and 217 platforms) vehicles, an erroneous activation of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (“MIL”) may occur under certain conditions, due to engine coolant backflow. In our continuing efforts to assure the proper performance of Mercedes-Benz products and to ensure the satisfaction of our customers, the warranty for the subject vehicles is extended from the original 4 years/50,000 miles to 10 years / 120,000 miles from the vehicle’s New Vehicl
