DESCRIPTION When refueling, you may occasionally notice: A gurgling sound from the fuel filler neck. The gas dispenser nozzle clicks off before the tank is full. Fuel vapor or mist from the filler neck. This can occur if 20 minutes have elapsed after pressing the fuel lid button and the fuel tank has resealed the Vapor Recovery System (VRS) before refueling is complete. Before Refueling: 1. Press the fuel-filler lid opener switch. The system will release pressure in the tank through the vapor recovery system (charcoal canister) and enter Refueling Mode.
