Announcement of delivery hold and dealer notification program 95b74 for 1996 model taurus and sable cars equipped with 3.0l engines having calibration codes 6-10a-ro7 and 6-10s-ro7 (all 2v 3.0l engines) built at the atlanta assembly plant from july 31, through august 4, 1995. This action is necessary as the affected cars have an evaporative emissions control system purge hose which could contact the engine compartment bulkhead and rub through, resulting in varying degrees of engine idle variations and rough running.
