The vehicle may exhibit the speedometer/odometer inoperative as well as malfunction indicator lamps illuminated or flashing after the generic electronic module (gem), central timer module (ctm), or for wheel anti-lock brake system (4wabs) module has been replaced. This may be due to the necessity to program the vehicle attribute information into the affected module.
