On some vehicles equipped with v6 engine produced before 2/9/00 (vin1j002592) , metal burrs in the front exhaust pipe could become loose and travel into the engine cylinders during engine operation. This may result in engine misire and diagnostic trouble codes p0301, p0303, and / or p0305 to set in the pcm memory. *tt
