Some vehicles equipped with 4.0l sohc may exhibit a higher than normal base idle speed of 1200-1400 rpm when the vehicle is initially received from the assembly plant. This higher base idle stragety is now used during plant / transportation operation to prevent spark plug fouling. *tt
