Official summary
Vehicles may experience a ringing like sound when a rear door is closed. This sound may cause the customer to complain that a rear door does not sound solid when it is closed. The ringing-like sound may appear to be coming from the c-piilar area near the body mounted door striker. This condition may be caused by an inner reinforcement panel, behind the outer quarter panel, that could vibrate when a rear door is closed. *slc
