Official summary

Raising a vehicle with a jack can be dangerous if not done properly. The vehicle can slip off the jack and seri-ously injure someone. In this service information, some important warnings and cautions have been taken from the owner s manual. For mazda customers who have questions about safely lifting their vehicle to change a flat tire or to install snow chains, please provide a copy of the attached handout for them. Also, be sure to always direct customers to fol-low the directions in the owner's manual.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
