Official summary

Some customers may complain that on rainy days, the front combination light may appear to flicker or flash when the vehicle is stopped. This is not a vehicle defect since the lights are functioning properly; but rather, it is a phenomenon that can occur due to light refraction from water running over the headlamp lens while illuminated. NOTE: Explain to the customer that the repair described in this TSB helps disperse the water running over the headlamp lens to avoid the water flow concentrating to the lens axis, but it does not eliminate the phenomenon completely.
