Official summary
Certain Santa Fe (MX5A) and Santa Fe Hybrid (MX5A HEV) vehicles may produce a “pop”, “tick”, or “creak” noise from a missing weld on the mounting stud of the right front subframe while driving. The vehicle’s structural integrity is maintained even with a missing weld; however, drivers may report an abnormal noise coming from the affected area during certain driving scenarios.
