Certain Santa Fe (MX5A) and Santa Fe Hybrid (MX5A HEV) vehicles may experience a discharged battery condition due to the Fingerprint Module (FPM) not entering 'SLEEP' mode when the ignition is turned off. Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) 26-01-015H and 26-01-016H provide instructions to perform a software update with revised logic for the FPM. *Over-the-Air (OTA): This update can also be conducted via OTA.
